Kia Ora

Yesterday we all took part in a STEM challenge in our class. We had to use things our teacher gave us. Things that we could use so it could move the ping pong ball for ten seconds. My group did not win, but we had fun.  It was interesting to watch other kids creations, even one group won.

We did it because is was for science and trust me it was a LOT of fun. Next time me and my group should have worked on a table and my group messed up a little bit. My group was second, that is second to last and I felt disappointed.

we were learning what to do if you get a mean comment, so we made a comic strip if something goes wrong and, we did it with buddies. We also did a “if something goes wrong” Kahoot and, we also learned about cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is bullying but online. We were also learning about screen shots.

We created a poster for our blog so that other people know more about us. We have been learning what we can share on the internet.

I found it was easy because, just take a photo write for a little bit and you get to customise it. The one I didn’t like was the photo.

Hi guys, you must be wondering why there is a picture of a Elsa cake, so i’m going to tell you why. So the other day, a wee while ago, it was my dad’s birthday! So first we went to New world and my little sister picked the Elsa cake, and my dad bought candles. At home we were singing happy birthday to dad but then my little sister was sick so mum had to take her and clean her up. So dad blew the candles and saved a slice for my sis.

Good morning everybody so when the seinours did under the wires(string)at Waikowhai primary on Tuesday in April we were very VERY exited about the day, but we did’it think about our carpet burn on our knees, and how tired we would get of crawling for one whole day at school, so when we were inside of the class room we had to do similar stuff as the Anzac solders do, but not the carpet burn, but if we don’t listen, we had to do push ups!

We also got to do fun activities like making music from the past, and finding  papers that the teachers hid for us but last year my sister did under the wires and if you touch it, you will get shot by nurf guns, but she said it was fun, but this year, the did not shoot us with it, which, I wanted them to, but it doesn’t matter, and I wondered what kind of nurf gun they shoot them with?

On Monday it was Athletics day. First we played a game similar to the floor is lava but you need to get a bucket lid. Then put your foot on a bucket lid fast, and my favourite part was when I was in the back and when I passed the leader.

Last week was Maori Language Week.  We made some koru art. We had to use some cool colours and warm colours.

I like how I used red then orange.

Next time I would do it slower to be better.

Last week we had some visitors from Corban Estate Art Centre come to show us how to make 3D paper art.

We made volcanoes.

I like when we were making paint.

Next time I would do my volcano a bit taller.
